What Is Not For Sale. Black Friday Tips

I only tried to shop one time on a Black Friday, I say tried because the second I saw how long the lines were at Walmart I turned myself around pronto!

There must have been 30 or even 40 people in line at each register!shopper with cart full outside of Walmart

I don’t know about you, but when I want to get a deal, especially on Black Friday, I am sure not looking for what is not for sale.

I am looking for the sales with BIG discounts, but not only that, I just do not want to wait in a line for two hours!

How can I avoid the Black Friday Crowds?

If you have ever shopped on Black Friday we all have heard about the stories of the people outside the stores waiting for it to open.

As soon as the store opens the people RUN to certain areas of the store to buy what they came for!

I remember one Black Friday, I believe it was at a Walmart where the doors were just being opened and when the people ran in they actually trampled a person on the ground who eventually died! That is nuts!

Because of this, many stores just remain open 24 hrs a day during Thanksgiving, and also Black Friday, a very good decision!

Shop At The Stores On Wednesday!

An interesting fact is that sometimes, the exact same Black Friday prices are found two days before on Wednesday! Or you may even find that the price listed is the same as, if not lower than, what you will find on Black Friday.

And while you are at the stores on Wednesday go and take a look at where the other things are located in the store that are not yet on sale until Friday. That way when you go on Friday you will know exactly where to go.

But I feel like the best way to avoid the Black Friday crowds is just to shop online. Statistics show that today over 75% of shoppers shop online. Some very good sales are found online, some even better than in the stores!

So you have decided to skip out on going to the brick and mortar stores and endure all those long lines and wade through the hundreds of shoppers.

Good choice.

Keep in mind that Online Sales deals are the lowest on Thanksgiving Day, not Black Friday. The average discount is about 24%.

Thanksgiving Day is the best day to find online sales for apparel, sporting goods, and computers.

Black Friday, however is the best day for online deals on appliances, TVs, and tablets.

Shopping With Amazon This Year?

Amazon is the leading online retailer in the U.S.A. with about 232 billion dollars in sales in 2018. Most of the company’s revenues are produced with online retail sales of electronics and other products.

Most of the time the prices you find on Amazon are about the same or lower than anywhere else. They also have over 500 million different products for sale! So, it is very likely that whatever you need this holiday season, Amazon has it! Happy shopping!
