I remember back in the 70’s thinking about the year 2000. “Wow”, I thought, ” I will be 40 years old! When you are young you think you are never going to get old, not as old as FORTY, anyway! Ha Ha Ha.
Your Retirement is not even in your mind when you are a teenager. We were thinking about school, finishing High School and what college we wanted to go to.
If you are around my age (60), then I am sure that just like I am, you also are thinking about retirement. Will I have enough money? Will I be able to travel? Will I be in good health? Yes, at this age we are concerned about retirement.
At What Age Should I Retire?
My Dad retired at around age 55. He worked hard as an engineer at Pratt and Whitney in Connecticut. Thankfully Pratt and Whitney had a pension plan in place while my dad was working so he received quite a good pension.
My dad also invested and did quite well in the stock market, so money wise he had no concerns and eventually built his dream house near the coast of Rhode Island.
It is obvious to all of us that the age we retire, for the most part centers around how much money we have, and if we have a pension or not. Health reasons are another factor as to when we will retire.
Did You Retire Already?
Many of us, including me have been forced to retire, kind of.
As for me, even though my house is paid off I still need an income for the other bills. Yes I do have a small savings but it is not enough to carry me through my entire retirement.
If you are like me, you are looking for ways to supplement your income.
If you are not yet 62, like I am, then you are not even collecting Social Security yet. As for me, I have no choice but to seek out a way to make income.
When You Stop Working, Its Hard To Go Back!
Ugh! I have to go back to work! Do you?
Thankfully, todays world is much different from it was when we were growing up in the 70’s. Today there are millions of people making their own incomes from the comfort of their own homes, online.
No, you don’t have to go back to a 9 to 5 Monday thru Friday workweek, there is another way.
How do I find The Right Online Program Without Being Scammed?
That’s a great question! Since 1985 I have tried many so called Network Marketing companies and other online programs. One of the very first things I did whenever one of my friends approached me about an income opportunity was to Google search the program.
In almost every case if it is a bad program there will be so many people complaining about it that it will be very obvious it is a scam. Then there are some that only have a few people complaining about them, those are the ones I continue to do my research on.
The next thing I do is research the owners and see their reputation, just by reading what others say will help you draw your own conclusions.
What Is The Best Program?
The best programs will have some key factors. They will be over ten years old, they will be debt free. They will offer a lot of Free Training. There will be no hype! They will be honest. There will be no large up sells.
What is an up sell? Well, when you drive thru the Mcdonalds window and order your cheeseburger, fries and soda, the person taking your order sometimes asks you, “would you like an apple pie with that.?” That is an up sell.
You already have decided to buy, and the person selling tries get you to buy more. A small up sell is ok as far as I am concerned, I can afford an apple pie, that is, if I want it.
But I have seen programs with up sells of $997, and $2,997, or even 19,997! I don’t know what it is with this 997 as the last three numbers, but any of these is a SCAM
